[Initial Chodong Record] IU’s ‘Love poem’ Album Sold More Than 147,000 Copies in the First Week (Hanteo Chart Official) “IU’s power that’s true to its fame… Achieves 1st place among all the female solo artists in the K-Pop’s history!”

On the 3rd, Hanteo Chart, who operates the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, announced the Initial Chodong (first week) sales amount of IU’s ‘Love poem’ (title track: ‘Blueming’) album.
With this latest release, IU has recorded the Initial Chodong sales of nearly 150,000 copies with the weekly sales of 147,856 copies from November 19th to November 25th.
According to the daily sales data provided by Hanteo Chart, IU has sold 125,388 copies on November 19th, the first day of the release, then 9,122 copies on the 20th, 1,918 copies on the 21st, 1,646 copies on the 22nd, 639 copies on the 23rd, 3,720 copies on the 24th, and 5,423 copies on the 25th, the last day of the Initial Chodong sales aggregation.
With this, IU has ranked 1st in Initial Chodong record among all the K-Pop albums released by a female solo artist in 2019. This is also the new Initial Chodong record for an album released by a female artist in all of K-Pop History, garnering greater attention.
