WhosfanTV’s official MC, the newscaster Jo Seo Yeon, reported that BTS's 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7' placed 1st in the Weekly Physical Album chart with the sales amount of 2,990,822 copies. 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7' recorded the sales amount of 2,653,050 copies on the day of the release, the 21st. The Initial Chodong (first week of release) sales amount of the previous album, 'MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA,' was 2,130,480 copies, which surprised the K-Pop fans all around the world. However, BTS has broken the record just within a day with this latest release.
In the video, Jo Seo Yeon newscaster checked the album sales data of the albums that placed 1st and 2nd in the Weekly Physical Album Chart of 3rd week of February on the 'Whosfan' mobile app. Jo Seo Yeon newscaster explored the 'Whosfan' app while checking the Initial Chodong album sales, real-time sales, and cumulative sales amounts.
