[SUM:Thing] A Hidden Gem for When You Want to Cry
We are living in the heyday of K-Pop, and countless songs come out just within a day. But sadly, not all songs get to see the light. We created this segment called 'SUM:Thing' to introduce the 'masterpieces' that are 'worth listening to' so that they don't go unnoticed or stay forgotten.
The third artist we would like to introduce is SF9, debuted on October 5th, 2016, from FNC Entertainment.

You would identify with SF9's 'Fall In Love' if you listen to the song at late night after a breakup. You could be consoled by the lyrics, and you may even cry from the overall atmosphere of the song.
'Fall In Love' is a song with the interesting piano riff that appeals to most tastes. Especially, the beautiful voice at the beginning of the song and the lyrics that are sung like a low rap-tone are the best. Like this, this is a song with the outstanding structure and mix of rap and vocals. The parts that are structured that the listeners to fall in love with the song bit by bit double the emotions expressed by the song.
Also, 'Fall In Love' is a song that utilized the beautiful voice of SF9's vocalists very well. When we say 'beautiful voice,' many would think that of bright and young boys, but this song is different. The beautiful voice that contains sorrowful emotions makes you more immersed in the lyrics. Here lies another reason that we wanted to introduce this song as 'SUM:Thing.' SF9's members, Young Bin, Zu Ho, Hwi Young, and Chani, participated in writing the lyrics of 'Fall In Love.' It feels like the emotions that the listeners could feel through the vocals and the lyrics are doubled because of that.
The song also has a twist as 'Fall In Love,' the phrase that usually represents the emotion of falling in love, is used as the title of such as sad and sorrowful song.
With the lyrics that deeply resonate and sad but beautiful voice throughout the song would make you rethink about the group SF9 after listening to the song till the end.
