[Showcase] (G)I-DLE Holds Online Media Showcase for 'I Trust' Album Release
"Perfect stage that elicits 'Oh my god!"

On April 6th at 5 PM, group (G)I-DLE held the media showcase with online broadcasting, celebrating the release of the 3rd Mini Album 'I Trust.' Singer Jo Kwon emceed the event.

The title track 'Oh my god' features a daring rhythm-change at every turn. It's an urban hip-hop track, and the dreamy atmosphere and powerful sound led by the vintage piano sound and the 808 bass are very interesting.

The music video showcases the performance that expresses confused self while immersed in purple water and mud, and black body painting and the blood flowing down the face also express the new genre that (G)I-DLE wants to express.

After the music video release, MC Jo Kwon asked which scene in the music video was impressive, member Yuqi said, "You can't see my face well, but there is a scene where I fall. I wondered how it would look like while I was filming the scene, but it came out more realistic and cooler than I thought, so that was impressive."

To member Shuhua's replying, "The scene where we dance with the back dancers was memorable," MC Jo Kwon responded, "All of the scenes in (G)I-DLE's music video are memorable," brightening up the mood of the showcase.

The showcase continued onto the stage of 'Oh my god,' the title track of (G)I-DLE's 3rd Miin Album 'I Trust.' Capturing everyone's eyes with the dynamic sound, (G)I-DLE demonstrated a majestic performance on stage and proved their fame as the up-and-coming artist.

After the stage, a lot of the questions on the concept of the new track 'Oh my god' were asked to (G)I-DLE who always receive the interest of the public with the unique concept.

To the question of what the concept that they focused on in this album was, leader Soyeon replied, "This album 'I Trust' contains the confidence unique to (G)I-DLE and the message 'You can be confident just by trusting yourself,' just like the title. All the images in the album are in black and white, and we wanted to express that we continue to live on without losing our innocence even if others tell us that we are evil."

Also, to the question of where the inspiration of the song came from, leader Seoyeon said, "I love animations a lot. I was inspired by an animation on 'another world.'"

To the question asking about the difference between this and the previous stages, member Miyeon answered, "There are two performances of black version and white version that we prepared. We will perform both, so please look forward to them," heightening the anticipation toward the song as well as the performance.

Finally, to the question asking about the goal of this promotion, they said, "Our goal always is to have fun. We will have fun doing music and promoting." They continued, "We have never won a music show on public TV network yet. We'd like to win a music show this time and share the joy with Neverlands," revealing the love toward the fans.
