Group MONSTA X has placed 1st in Hanteo Chart's Monthly Global Authentication Chart of June.
On July 1st, Hanteo Chart, the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, announced the Monthly Global Authentication Chart of June 2020 based on the genuine album purchase authentication data from K-Pop fans overseas during the past month. As a result, MONSTA X's 8th Mini Album 'FANTASIA X' (title track 'FANTASIA'), released on May 26th, earned the glory of the 1st place in the Monthly Global Authentication Chart of June of 2020.
Hanteo Chart’s Global Authentication Chart is a new concept chart built by the K-Pop fans overseas directly authenticate their purchase of the artists’ genuine albums. As it is based on 'the fans' active participation,' the result of the chart has a great meaning to the artist and the fans alike.
According to Hanteo Chart, the fans in the United States have recorded the most authentications of the genuine album purchase of the MONSTA X's 'FANTASIA X' album in the last month. The numbers of authentication of genuine albums were followed by the fans in Russia, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, the United Kingdom, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, France, and Phillipines, proving that MONSTA X is still a global mainstream beloved from all over the world.
Also, MONSTA X's 8th Mini Album 'FANTASIA X' continuously demonstrated high sales amount during the Initial Chodong (first week of release) sales period and resulted in more than 100,000 copies. Moreover, the album placed 2nd in Hanteo Chart's Weekly Physical Album chart of the 5th week of May and placing in Top 10 of the weekly charts in the 1st and 2nd weeks of June, highlighting MONSTA X's ongoing popularity even in the fierce K-pop market of June with several comebacks.
