Jisoo Wins First Million Seller As A Female Solo Artist → Hanteo Chart Initial Sales Certification Plaque (Hanteo Chart Official)

JISII was the first female solo artist to win a million certificate.

JISOO, a member of the group BLACKPINK, announced on the afternoon of May 23rd that she had won the official initial sales certification plaque of Hanteo Chart and released a photo certifying it. JISOO in the picture received the ‘official initial sales certification plaque’ issued by Hanteo Chart with a smiley face.

The ‘Hanteo Chart Official Initial Certification Plaque’ is a commemorative plaque that certifies the official record of an artist who has achieved a certain amount of album sales based on the ‘Initial Sales’ data compiled by the world's only real-time music chart. Therefore, receiving this certification plaque means that she is an artist who has achieved significant results in K-pop.

Jisoo recorded initial sales of 1,172,351 copies with her First Single Album [ME] released in March. As a result, Jisoo not only topped the initial sales record of Korean female solo artists, but also became the first Korean female solo artist to become a million seller.

In commemoration of the new record of Jisoo, Hanteo Chart issued a certification plaque that officially certifies the new record in the female solo artist category and a million certification plaque that means achieving more than 1 million initial sales.
