Group ITZY has surpassed 430,000 initial chodong sales with their new mini-album 'GOLD'.

 

Hanteo Chart, the world's only real-time music chart, announced on the 22nd the initial chodong sales of ITZY's 'GOLD'. The counting period was from October 15th to the 21st.

 

ITZY's 'GOLD' recorded initial sales starting with 195,234 copies on the first day, 161,420 copies on the 16th, 23,620 copies on the 17th, 5,645 copies on the 18th, 5,939 copies on the 19th, 15,806 copies on the 20th, and finally, 31,049 copies on the 21st. The total initial chodong sales of 'GOLD' were tallied at 438,713 copies.

The new release 'GOLD' is based on the theme "Our World is still different," encapsulating ITZY's brilliantly shining stories and music, much like the album title suggests.

 

The title track 'GOLD' of the same name as the album combines intense electric guitar rock sound with groovy drums and 808 bass hip-hop sound, expressing the overwhelming emotions and unfamiliar feelings of the moment when 'I' met 'you', likened to the sparkling 'GOLD'.

 

Another title track 'Imaginary Friend' is a pop dance song that blends vintage pop guitar with acoustic band sound and vocal harmony.

 

The album features two title tracks at the forefront, 'Bad Girls R Us', 'Supernatural', a fan song 'FIVE' commemorating the 5th anniversary of their debut, and 'VAY (Feat. Changbin of Stray Kids)' featuring member Changbin from the group Stray Kids, with a total of 11 tracks included.

 

Meanwhile, ITZY will hold their third fan meeting 'ITZY The 3rd Fan Meeting: Trust Us, Let's Fly! "Cells of Trust"' on November 2nd at 5 PM at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul.
