YG’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER captivated global fans with an explosive aura that blew away the summer heat, once again proving their unrivaled presence as ‘live performance powerhouses.’
On the 27th, BABYMONSTER appeared at the ‘2025 NOL Festival: SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer’ (hereinafter ‘Gayo Daejeon’) held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, performing a total of three songs: their hit song “DRIP,” their new track “HOT SAUCE,” and their official debut title “SHEESH.”
The opening stage was the title track “DRIP” from their first full-length album. The group recreated the legendary moment from last year’s ‘Gayo Daejeon,’ where they had achieved the highest number of views on YouTube, showcasing overwhelming buzz once again. With upgraded skills honed through their tour experience, the members dominated the stage and instantly heated up the venue.
Next came “HOT SAUCE,” which flipped the mood and filled the stage with joy. The rearranged version featured a more cheerful sound, and the members’ playful expressions had everyone’s shoulders bouncing. Perfectly synchronized group choreography with the dancers amid dazzling formations, plus catchy rap lines, unleashed non-stop peak energy, delivering an electrifying thrill.
The highlight was the grand finale: the band version of “SHEESH.” Their overwhelming hand mic live performance was worthy of the title ‘monster rookie’ they earned upon debut. With unwavering vocals, fearless high notes, and a confident attitude enjoying the stage with ease, the members drew constant cheers from the crowd.
It was truly a series of stages that nailed both skill and entertainment, earning widespread praise from global fans. Their powerful live vocals and versatile “hexagonal” capabilities—from fierce charisma to bubbly charm, showcased BABYMONSTER’s limitless spectrum once again.
Meanwhile, BABYMONSTER is currently on their debut world tour ‘2025 BABYMONSTER 1st WORLD TOUR <HELLO MONSTERS>,’ which includes 32 shows across 20 cities. Having successfully wrapped up performances in Seoul, North America, Japan, and Asia, they will launch their second North American tour in August, visiting Toronto, Rosemont, Atlanta, Fort Worth, Oakland, and Seattle.
