[Hanteo News = Reporter JUNG JUNHWA] Groups aespa and BOYNEXTDOOR ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s weekly charts for the 1st week of October.
Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart, announced its weekly charts for the 1st week of October 2026 at 10 AM on October 5. According to the charts, aespa and BOYNEXTDOOR ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s World Chart and Album Chart, respectively, for the 1st week of October.

aespa took the top spot on the weekly World Chart. The group earned the highest score in the digital music category on the weekly World Chart, recording a World Index of 11,523.81 points.
BOYNEXTDOOR followed at No. 2 with a World Index of 11,205.61 points, while BTS ranked No. 3 with a World Index of 9,466.26 points.

BOYNEXTDOOR was the No. 1 artist on the weekly Album Chart. BOYNEXTDOOR recorded an Album Index of 804,407.50 points for the 1st week of October with its 1st full-length repackage album ‘HOME: DELUXE’ (sales of 700,028 copies).
No. 2 on the weekly Album Chart was CLOSE YOUR EYES’ 4th mini album ‘256th Note’ with an Album Index of 390,648.25 points (sales of 693,801 copies), while No. 3 was NiziU’s 1st Korean mini album ‘Sour Grapes’ with an Album Index of 254,458.36 points (sales of 226,532 copies).
Hanteo Chart’s weekly chart tracking period for the 1st week of October was from September 28 to October 4. The World Chart is compiled and announced based on K-POP artists’ global data, including albums, digital music, authentication, SNS, and media, while Album Chart rankings are based on the Album Index, which is calculated using worldwide album sales.
