Global K-pop fans recommended the candidates for the poll via Whosfan’s official social media channel and the nominees included various artists who are known for their calm and healing voice. The nominees include BANG YE DAM of TREASURE, Young K of DAY6, I.M of MONSTA X, YONGHOON of ONEWE, KARINA of aespa, JUHO of SF9, J of STAYC, TAERYEONG of LUNARSOLAR, KUHN of UP10TION, LEE SOO JIN of Weeekly, and more.

 

After a fierce competition, BANG YE DAM of TREASURE placed first on the poll with a high voting rate of 36.09%. Therefore, Whosfan looked into BANG YE DAM’s treasure-like voice.

Although the voting began with the idea “What if this idol becomes a late-night radio DJ?,’ TREASURE MAKERS (fandom name of TREASURE) wished that BANG YE DAM could actually become a radio DJ for a long time. The fans say that BANG YE DAM’s passion for music and his musical knowledge will also make him a great radio DJ. Proving that, BANG YE DAM introduced himself as ‘DJ BANG’ during the NAVER V-LIVE ‘BOY's First Radio Broadcast Congratulations’ and successfully ran V-LIVE. During the ‘BOY’s First Radio,’ which lasted about an hour and a half, BANG YE DAM chose a wide range of artists and genres.
