On May 31st, Hanteo Chart, the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, has officially counted and announced that Kang Daniel’s ‘The Story’ has recorded the Initial Chodong (first week of the album’s release) sales amount of more than 310,000 copies. The Initial Chodong sales period of ‘The Story' was from May 24th to May 30th.

 

According to the Initial Chodong sales amount data provided by Hanteo Chart, the album has recorded the album sales amount of 153,834 copies on the first day on the 24th, 17,865 copies on the 25th, 1,092 copies on the 26th, 40,817 copies on the 27th, 275 copies on the 28th, 13,083 copies on the 29th, and 89,664 copies on the 30th which was the last day of the Initial Chodong period, wrapping up the Initial Chodong sales amount of ‘The Story' with a total of 316,630 copies. This ranks him 10th for Initial Chodong album sales of solo artists and makes this his 4th time ranking in the top 10 after his solo debut.

 

Kang Daniel’s 1st Studio Album ‘The Story’ is the final story of the previously released ‘Color’ series. It focused on the fact that every person and every situation has their own story, and such stories create relationships and leave a special meaning.
