Stray Kids’ Changbin made a meaningful donation to celebrate his birthday.
On the 11th, Stray Kids’ Changbin donated 100 million KRW to Samsung Medical Center in honor of his birthday. The donation will be used to fund surgeries, treatments, and psychological support programs for pediatric and adolescent patients from underprivileged backgrounds who face difficulties receiving medical care due to financial hardship.
Changbin shared his thoughts, saying, “I’m incredibly grateful to be able to give back the love I’ve received from fans and deliver even a small glimmer of hope to children on my birthday. I hope my heart can contribute in some way to the children’s recovery and healthy growth.”
A representative from Samsung Medical Center stated, “Changbin’s warm heart and his 100 million KRW donation will be a great source of strength for the patients and their families,” adding, “The donation will be carefully used to support the treatment and recovery of the children.”
Changbin has consistently practiced acts of kindness and generosity, spreading positive influence. In 2025, he donated alongside the members of Stray Kids to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to support recovery efforts for wildfire damage in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions. In 2023, he supported emergency relief efforts for the Türkiye-Syria earthquake through the international relief organization ‘The Promise’, and was inducted into the ‘Honors Club’.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids recently wrapped up their largest world tour to date, the “< dominATE >” tour, which spanned 54 shows across 34 cities around the world. Having made K-POP history with their record-breaking tour, they are set to return with their new studio album “KARMA” and title track “CEREMONY” on August 22, marking their first full-length domestic comeback in over two years.
