YEONJUN of TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) is set to make his long-awaited solo debut this November.
On October 16 at 11 p.m. (KST), YEONJUN surprised fans by posting an image on his personal social media with the caption “MY FIRST SOLO ALBUM.” The teaser image featured the words ‘NO LABELS’ and ‘PART 01,’ along with the release date, written in bold red typography that gave off a minimalist yet striking impression. Fans reacted enthusiastically, commenting, “He’s announcing it himself, so YEONJUN!” and “This feels just like him, confident and cool.”
His label, BIGHIT MUSIC, officially confirmed the news on October 17 at 10 a.m. (KST) via Weverse, announcing YEONJUN’s first solo mini album, ‘NO LABELS: PART 01,’. This marks his first-ever solo release in approximately six years and eight months since debuting with TXT. The album’s concept centers on “YEONJUN without definitions or boundaries”, a project that aims to showcase the artist’s unfiltered identity beyond labels.
Known as a “dance challenge icon” and “performance powerhouse,” YEONJUN has long captivated audiences with his dynamic stage presence. His mastery across genres, combined with strong vocals, confident rap delivery, and striking visuals, has made him one of K-pop’s most complete performers.
In 2024, his first solo mixtape ‘GGUM (Ggum)’ further cemented his status as one of K-pop’s top dancers, thanks to its intricate choreography and charismatic appeal. He also showcased his stylistic depth through the solo track ‘Ghost Girl’ from TXT’s 4th full-length album ‘The Name Chapter: TOGETHER’ released in July, earning acclaim for its sleek artistry. With ‘NO LABELS: PART 01,’ YEONJUN is expected to reveal an even broader musical spectrum as a solo artist.
‘NO LABELS: PART 01’ will be released on November 7 at 2 p.m. (KST), with pre-orders opening on October 17 at 11 a.m. Ahead of the release, YEONJUN plans to roll out a series of diverse promotional content to heighten anticipation among global fans, collectively known as MOA.
Meanwhile, TOMORROW X TOGETHER is currently on their fourth world tour, ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT : TOMORROW>.’ The group will kick off their Japan leg with concerts in Saitama (Nov 15–16), followed by Aichi (Dec 6–7) and Fukuoka (Dec 27–28). Before that, they are set to release their third Japanese studio album ‘Starkissed’ on October 22.
