[Hanteo News = Reporter JUNG JUNHWA] GUNIL, a member of the group Xdinary Heroes, is leaving the team.

 

On the 13th, JYP ENTERTAINMENT stated, “Regarding the recent matter involving member GUNIL, we have deeply recognized the seriousness of the situation and held sufficient discussions with the artist from multiple angles,” adding, “We determined that it would be difficult for him to continue team activities, and have decided to terminate his exclusive contract by mutual agreement.”

 

The agency also added, “As of today, GUNIL will leave Xdinary Heroes and conclude his team activities,” and “We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden news.”

 

Going forward, Xdinary Heroes will continue activities as a five-member group.

 

Previously, A, who claimed to be GUNIL’s ex-girlfriend, caused a stir by posting on an online community and claiming that GUNIL had made excessive abusive remarks about fans, while also releasing an audio recording containing the remarks.

Regarding the recent matter involving member GUNIL, we have deeply recognized the seriousness of the situation and held sufficient discussions with the artist from multiple angles. As a result, we determined that it would be difficult for him to continue team activities, and have decided to terminate his exclusive contract by mutual agreement.

Accordingly, we inform you that as of today, GUNIL will leave Xdinary Heroes and conclude his team activities.

We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans with this sudden news.

Going forward, Xdinary Heroes will continue activities as a five-member group. We will provide full support in many ways so that the members can focus on their musical activities in a stable manner.
