KIM JAE HWAN drew attention by saying, “I think the title ‘comfort’ suits me well.”
Singer KIM JAE HWAN met with Hanteo News at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, on the 20th and shared various stories.
He completed his 1 year and 6 months of military service and was discharged at the end of 2025. ‘I’ll Come Get You Now’ is his first digital single released after his discharge.
When asked what kind of image he wanted to show after his military service, KIM JAE HWAN said, “The lyrics of this song strongly carry a message of comfort, and while writing them, I always felt that fans were waiting for me,” adding, “Even after the hiatus ended, while preparing the song, I tried to understand things from the fans’ perspective, and now I wanted to say, ‘I’ll come get you.’”
He added that the reason he came to think this way was “largely due to the military,” saying, “While running, thinking, and reflecting, I had time to organize many of the feelings I had experienced so far.”
Meanwhile, KIM JAE HWAN’s single ‘I’ll Come Get You Now’ will be released on the 22nd at 6 PM.
