
Groups BTS and CORTIS shined on Hanteo Chart’s May monthly charts.
Hanteo Chart, the world’s only real-time music chart, announced its monthly charts for May 2026 at 10 AM on the 1st. According to the charts, BTS and CORTIS ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s May World Chart and Album Chart, respectively.

BTS maintained its throne on the May monthly World Chart.
BTS earned high scores in the social, digital music, and media categories, recording a World Index of 16,108.24 points.
BTS had also shown its global popularity by ranking No. 1 on the weekly World Chart for the 1st and 3rd weeks of May.
Following BTS, CORTIS ranked No. 2 with a World Index of 13,034.82 points, while aespa ranked No. 3 with a World Index of 12,245.13 points.

CORTIS rose to the top of the May monthly Album Chart.
CORTIS’ 2nd mini album 'GREENGREEN' recorded a monthly Album Index of 3,332,399.00 points and monthly sales of 2,518,122 copies in May.
CORTIS had also taken No. 1 on the weekly Album Chart for the 1st week of May with the album.
Following CORTIS, aespa’s 2nd full-length album 'LEMONADE' took No. 2 with a monthly Album Index of 1,039,252.20 points in May (monthly sales of 847,824 copies), while NDOUBLE’s 1st mini album 'Sequence 01: Curiosity' secured No. 3 with a monthly Album Index of 903,989.25 points in May (monthly sales of 694,611 copies).
The tracking period for Hanteo Chart’s May monthly charts was the full month from May 1 to May 31.
The World Chart is compiled and announced based on K-POP artists’ global data, including albums, digital music, authentication, SNS, and media, while Album Chart rankings are announced based on the Album Index, which is calculated using worldwide album sales.
