[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] Hearts2Hearts JUEUN expressed confidence in the group’s new song ‘Lemon Tang.’

Hearts2Hearts held a media showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall on the 22nd to commemorate the release of its 2nd mini album ‘Lemon Tang.’ On this day, JUEUN said, “I think every part of ‘Lemon Tang’ is a killing part.”

When asked about the killing part of the song, JUEUN said, “If I had to choose one among them, there is a hand gesture in the chorus that brings lemon to mind,” adding, “I think that hand gesture makes the song’s fresh and lively charm stand out even more.” She added, “The opening has a part that seems to show Hearts2Hearts’ visuals, so I hope you focus from that part.”

Introducing the title track, A-NA said, “‘STYLE,’ which came out last summer, is still receiving a lot of love from many people, but ‘Lemon Tang’ is a complete summer song that is fresher and more refreshing than ‘STYLE.’” STELLA explained, “The title was made by combining sour lemon and tangy tang,” adding, “It means that when you are alone, you can be sour and sharp, but when you are together, you become sweet and sour.”

Regarding the behind-the-scenes story of selecting the title track, YUHA said, “When we first heard the demo for ‘Lemon Tang,’ it felt like summer all at once, so all the members really liked the song from the beginning,” adding, “We thought it was the most fitting as the title track because it could best convey Hearts2Hearts’ bright energy.”

Regarding working with writer KENZIE, JIWOO said, “This is already the fourth time writer KENZIE has worked on our title track,” adding, “I really like writer KENZIE’s lyrics because she captures the message of ‘us’ that our team wants to express through music so well.” She added, “Just as a lemon is a fruit with a strong sour taste when alone, but its flavor comes alive even more when it blends with other dishes, she wrote the lyrics by comparing it to ‘Lemon Tang,’ with the message that we shine more when we are together.”

Regarding the performance, JUEUN said, “For ‘Lemon Tang’ as well, we practiced really hard day and night to show a performance unique to Hearts2Hearts,” adding, “Our signature four-on-four symmetry and straight-line formation are also included, so please show lots of interest.” She shared, “Choreographer Jo Nine, who directed ‘FOCUS’ and ‘RUDE!,’ also worked with us on this performance.” A-NA introduced the point choreography by saying, “There are many moves that use the wrists,” adding, “Making lemons with both hands and the lemon-squeezing move are also key points.”

Hearts2Hearts, which debuted in February 2025, is a group that surprised the K-POP scene with growth unlike that of a rookie. After being recognized for its potential by winning the Rookie Award at the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025, the group achieved major records in its first year since debut, including winning five music show trophies with the single ‘RUDE!’ released that same month and surpassing 100 million views with its first music video.

This 2nd mini album ‘Lemon Tang’ is a work that captures Hearts2Hearts’ fresh and refreshing charm, just like the album title, which combines the sour “Lemon” with “Tang,” meaning a sharp taste and scent. It contains a total of six tracks, including the title track of the same name.

Hearts2Hearts’ 2nd mini album ‘Lemon Tang’ will be released through various online music sites at 6 PM on this day. Attention is focused on whether Hearts2Hearts, which swept the first half of the year with ‘RUDE!,’ will be able to take over this summer as well with this album.
