[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] idntt has returned as a 20-member group, signaling an overwhelming scale on another level.

 

idntt held a showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall on the 13th to commemorate the release of its 3rd mini album 'itsnotover' and shared stories about the new album.

 

idntt, which debuted in August 2025, has built a unique identity as a “street culture idol” that freely combines hip-hop, trap, and EDM sounds. Since debut, the group recorded initial chodong sales of 336,152 copies with its 1st mini album 'unevermet,' then renewed its initial chodong sales record with 431,377 copies for its 2nd mini album 'yesweare.' Its growth was also recognized as it won the Blooming Star Award at the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025. This 3rd mini album 'itsnotover' is a work presented as a 20-member group with the addition of the new unit itsnotover. It contains a total of seven tracks, including the title track 'Kids Return,' as well as 'Twenty,' 'Run It Up,' 'Lovestruck,' 'Trainspotting,' 'It's Not Over,' and 'Boys Gonna Dive.'

 

Regarding the album, KWAK KIWUNG introduced it by saying, “If 'unevermet' contained love about coincidence and 'yesweare' showed the bold side of saying, ‘We are youth,’ then 'itsnotover' carries the meaning of breathing spirit into youth that will not end.” LEE HWANHEE added, “Until now, we have shown a raw side learned more on the streets than in the classroom, but as we have returned with 20 members, we want to show our own identity through much more dynamic music.”

 

They also introduced the B-side tracks. Regarding the intro 'Twenty,' PARK NURI said, “I think we will be able to show our energy through explosive rock sounds and powerful melodies.” Regarding the title track 'Kids Return,' KIM DOHUN said, “It means that the boys have returned by joining forces, and it is a hip-hop sound track where you can feel the free-spiritedness that is true to idntt.” KIM SUNGJUN introduced 'Run It Up' as “a song that contains the rush and challenge of boys moving forward.” LEE JUHEON explained 'Lovestruck' as “a song that portrays the confusion of the moment when one falls into uncontrollable love.” NAM JIUN said of 'Trainspotting,' “It is a song about beings who become more dangerous the more they break apart, and we tried to express the beauty, precariousness, and destructive charm of youth in one piece of music.” Regarding the unit track 'It's Not Over,' CHO EUNCHAN said, “You can feel the emotions of boys like us on a transparent and brilliantly shining summer day,” while KIM EUNSUNG added, “When I first heard it, I immediately thought, ‘This is summer.’ It has a cool and refreshing atmosphere, and more than anything, it felt even more special because it is the first unit song performed by the five of us together.” YANG KYUNGHO introduced the final track 'Boys Gonna Dive' as “a song that contains the attitude of boys who are not afraid of wounds and failures and eventually rise again.”

 

They also shared their expectations for the 20-member stage. NAM JIUN said confidently, “The sense of overwhelming scale is on another level,” while KIM DOHUN shared, “While preparing group choreography with 20 members, I became convinced that our overwhelming energy and group choreography could be seen as a major strength by many people, so I am really looking forward to the full-group stage.” LEE KYUHYUK said, “We want to clearly show the synergy of the 20 of us so that many people can watch our stage and think it is cool.” Regarding the fact that his parts became smaller as the number of members increased, NAM JIUN said, “When I do my part, it feels reassuring because there are nine members filling the stage behind me,” adding, “I accepted it with the thought that by focusing more on the parts that have become smaller, I could upgrade myself and show an even cooler side.”

 

Behind-the-scenes stories about the addition of the new unit itsnotover were also revealed. CHO EUNCHAN said, “When the previous units debuted, we were trainees, and now we get to take part in creating that stage together,” adding, “I think it is very moving that the people who had already debuted and the people who watched them and grew their dreams can perform on stage together.” KIM EUNSUNG shared, “Since we are rookies, we are very nervous, but because there are members who debuted before us and whom we can rely on, we are able to depend on them a lot.” YANG KYUNGHO said, “The charms we see in one another are all different, and when those charms are put together like puzzle pieces, I think the light called itsnotover shines,” adding, “I think this is a moment I will never forget.” LEE JUHEON drew laughter by saying, “I am so happy to debut, and especially because I think the four members other than myself are so perfect, I think I feel even happier.” KIM EUNSUNG also revealed, “After this round of promotions ends, four more id members, including id3, are scheduled to join, completing idntt.”

 

Regarding what idntt considers to be spirit, PARK NURI said, “I think our spirit is going our own way without caring about how others see us.” KIM SUNGJUN added, “I think it means not collapsing,” adding, “As we promote as 20 members, there will be many difficult things and many good things, but if we become closer through that and do not collapse, I think many good results will come to us. So I thought idntt’s spirit is not breaking.”

 

When asked about a memorable moment, LEE HWANHEE said, “I remember most clearly when we first went on a music show with 'unevermet,'” adding, “When we first greeted everyone on the stage of 'M Countdown,' it was our first live broadcast stage, so we were really nervous, and the members made a lot of mistakes. But seeing us here now, working hard together and matching with one another, I remember how awkward we were at first.” KIM HEEJU said, “The moment we won No. 1 on 'Music Bank' remains the most memorable,” adding, “At the time, I got a little choked up, and later, I found myself looking up that video.”

 

When asked about their goal for this promotion, NAM JIUN said, “I want to win the MAMA Rookie Award.” KIM JUHO said, “I want to win awards on all music shows,” and made the scene burst into laughter by pledging, “If we win No. 1, I will put my hair up in the middle and do a rooster-comb hairstyle.” LEE CHEONGMYEONG said, “I want to buy something delicious for our fans with my own money,” adding, “I want to give them mostly desserts.” CHO EUNCHAN added, “I want all 20 of us to gather and have a company dinner.”

 

idntt’s 3rd mini album 'itsnotover' was released through various online music sites at 6 PM on this day. Attention is focused on whether the group will be able to break its initial chodong sales record once again with this album, following its previous release.
