Group Kep1er won first place in Japan Oricon Annual Ranking.
On January 9th, Oricon announced that Kep1er won 1st place on the Rookie Ranking of the ‘Sales Category by Artist’ at ‘the 55th Oricon Annual Ranking 2022.’
The corresponding chart aggravates total sales of single albums, and streaming music DVDs of rookie artists from December 13th, 2021 to December 11th, 2022.
Kep1er said “All thanks to Kep1lian, we received this precious award. We appreciate everyone who supports us. Please look forward to our better music and performance in the future.”
Last December 30th, Kep1er was the only K-Pop artist who won ‘The SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD’ at ‘64th JAPAN RECORD AWARDS.’ In addition, the group’s Japanese debut single album ‘FLY-UP’ sold more than 100 thousand copies by last September, and it was certified as the ‘golden’ record by Japan Record Association.
Kep1er’s Japanese debut track 'WA DA DA' is especially popular. 'WA DA DA' surpassed 100 million plays in Japan and it was certified by Japan Record Association Platinum in October 2022. Also, Kep1er was the only K-Pop artist on ‘Youtube Fanfest Japan 2022.’ They were in 7th place on ‘Japan Top Music Video Ranking 2022.’
Meanwhile, Kep1er appeared in ‘64th JAPAN RECORD AWARDS’ and 'CDTV Live! Live!' continues to be active.
