tripleS held a showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall on the 1st to commemorate the release of its full-group album ASSEMBLE26 LOVE & POP Part 1 LOVE. On this day, YUBIN said, “I think it would be really, really great if we won No. 1 on every music show.”

 

YUBIN said, “I think the best achievement would probably be winning No. 1 on music shows,” adding, “I hope we can win No. 1 on every music show, perform on many year-end stages, and also receive awards at year-end stages.”

 

The members also shared why they approached this promotion with such determination. SEOAH said, “This concept has a slightly different feel from the concepts tripleS has shown so far, so I think the members prepared with a lot of concern and excitement, and with even more determination and earnestness.” SOHYUN said, “This time, I thought that if we came out with a song that could truly touch fans’ hearts, like Girls Never Die, we would be able to continue promoting for a long time while imprinting our name,” adding, “We approached this promotion with even more determination, thinking that if this promotion goes better, fans will trust us more, and we will be able to show them even more.”

 

Regarding the process of writing the lyrics for Sleek, SOHYUN said, “At first, I wrote it while imagining the image of a model a lot in my head,” adding, “I thought a model was the profession with the most individuality and the one that best shows a person’s charm, so I distributed the parts and wrote the lyrics according to the members’ tendencies and personalities.” She added, “Because it is never a given that a song I write will be selected every time, I deliver the original song with the desperate hope that it will be accepted this time.” NAKYOUNG said, “I participated in writing lyrics for the previous Girls Never Die album, and I am still continuing to study toplining and media,” adding, “Because I have the desire to make something from beginning to end, I want to properly create something once and let many people hear it.”

 

When asked about the strengths and difficulties unique to a 24-member group, SEOYEON said, “I think the biggest strength you can feel in full-group promotions is the emotion,” adding, “The best part is that when all 24 of us are together, we feel proud and a sense of achievement, and we can deliver that kind of emotion.” YEONJI said, “Since all 24 members have different thoughts, words, and opinions, we feel a wide range of emotions and fun in colorful ways,” drawing laughter as she added, “The difficult part is that waiting for our salon time is the hardest.”

 

Regarding the & part scheduled to be released in the second half of the year, SOHYUN said, “We also have a huge secret, so it is hard to spoil the concept, but we have a tour scheduled for this year, so we promise to appear before fans with many different sides of ourselves.”
