[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] Keyveatz Son Juone expressed gratitude for the help of the group’s agency seniors.

Keyveatz held a showcase at YES24 Wonderloch Hall on the 30th to commemorate the release of its 1st mini album ‘OXY_GEN.’ On this day, Son Juone said, “KIAN84 sunbaenim helped with the planning and structure of our showcase.”

Son Juone said, “Aside from the album work, so many people helped us,” adding, “Even before our debut, MIJOO sunbaenim gave us a lot of feedback, and KIAN84 sunbaenim helped with the planning and structure of our showcase.” She added, “I think we feel very grateful that so many people have helped us even before our debut.”

Newy said, “For the title track ‘OXY,’ 200, our senior from the same agency, participated, and for the B-side track ‘SUB_ZERO,’ punchnello sunbaenim participated as a featured artist.” Kim Yuna said, “‘Catch My Breath’ was produced by Jay Park, and he brought out 200% of our talents in a really free atmosphere,” adding, “It was such an honorable and grateful experience.”

Regarding advice from their seniors, Um Jione said, “As we got to meet many seniors, we also received a lot of feedback while preparing for our monthly evaluations,” adding, “What they commonly told us was that rather than trying too hard to do well, it is better to just enjoy it and be ourselves.” She added, “We had a bit of pressure that we had to do better and be cooler, but thanks to our seniors, I think our current vibe was able to come out.”

Behind-the-scenes stories about the members’ participation were also revealed. Kim Yuna said, “For the pre-release track ‘Key Beats,’ our youngest member Jione participated in writing the lyrics, and for the B-side track ‘SUB_ZERO,’ she took part in creating the overall choreography. For the sub-title track ‘SUCK IT UP,’ she participated in writing lyrics, composing, and arranging.” Newy said, “The company gave us a lot of consideration so that we could participate in the overall album work, so it was a very precious experience.” Um Jione said, “Going forward, our goal is to gradually increase the members’ participation and someday create an album in which all members take part in producing.”

Keyveatz is the first girl crew introduced by AOMG since its founding and the next-generation runner in AOMG’s 2.0 rebranding project, 'Make It New.' The team name contains both the group’s direction to become the “key” that creates a new flow and its ambition to make a bold move, or “kibitz.” Ahead of its official debut, the group released the pre-release double single 'Key Beats' in April and proved its solid live performance capabilities by appearing at major domestic and overseas festivals and 18 university festivals, including 'KCON JAPAN 2026' and '2026 Seoul Park Music Festival.'

Debut EP 'OXY_GEN' is an album that symbolizes Keyveatz as a group that constantly moves, collides, and creates its own flow. It contains a total of five tracks, including the title track 'OXY,' 'SUCK IT UP,' for which all members participated in writing lyrics, composing, and arranging, 'SUB_ZERO,' featuring punchnello, and the pre-release tracks 'Key Beats' and 'Catch My Breath.'

Keyveatz’s 1st mini album 'OXY_GEN' will be released through various online music sites at 6 PM on this day. Attention is focused on what kind of new flow Keyveatz, which takes subculture and underground culture as its DNA, will create in the K-POP and hip-hop scenes.
